Hi,

How do I give other users the same permissions as the user "dsl"?
I created a user account for myself, and put me in the sudoers list.
But I get the "non dsl user error" when trying to install anything via MyDSL.
Is this possible to do?

try this:
alias mydsl-load='sudo su dsl -c mydsl-load'

I've never tried it, but it's worth a shot.

Another option is to edit the mydsl scripts.  The myDSL system was written specifically for user dsl, and using it as any other user will result in file permission problems.

This issue comes up over and over, and i just have to ask...why do you even care to create a new user?  Are there multiple people using your system?
