cups admin password

What is the user name and password that allows entry into cups admin to add printer, etc. Thanks (I used to know it, but can't find a link anywhere).

I think it is your Root password, so open a terminal window and type:

sudo passwd

(enter your password)

Then use this account:

username: root
Password: (the password that you just created)
