Has this section of MyDSL been disabled?  I can't find any notice or other info. Thanks.

It's still there... < http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/damnsmall/mydsl/uci/ >

Clicking on the UCI button on the extention panel doesn't  appear to work anymore; at least on the two laptops I run.

I haven't had much luck going directly to the UCI site and clicking on apps, either.   The computer hangs during the transfer process, requiring me to" kill client"  to get out of it.

Perhaps you're out of memory/space.
Try it manually... for example,

cd /path/to/my/saving_place
wget -c "myurl"
mydsl-load "myfile"

No problem downloading other files via browser; also have plenty of RAM  (256Mgs).

No problem getting lists and downloading from other areas of MyDSL extension panel. Clicking on the USI button doesn't do anything (eg., no list appears).  This used to work fine.  I have a grub install using ver 2.4.26.

Clicking an app from the UCI site results in the code being loaded into an editor window before it gets stuck, instead of downloading it.  I'm guessing it should download??

EDIT:

I right clicked and saved to a location successfully. I guess that's how to do it, vs just clicking on it.  Still curious why the extension panel button doesn't work.

Yes, you should download it as a file, not as text.  That is why i suggested using wget for simplicity.

Thanks, Hats. When I can figure a way to paste long file names into XTERM I'll give up click & save

select the text to copy, middle-click in the xterm window (or shift+insert) to paste.
