For fun I decided to try that Voip ppl are talking about.Put two desktops in two rooms, crossover ethernet between and DSL 3.2 toram livecd in each. Connection ok, no firewalls. Started Gphone on both and tried to call the other (a friend was there). Immediately it flashed "connected" - and a second later, crashed. Same on both comps. No error messages when started from Aterm. Sound cards natively supported. How about removing it? It just doesn't work.. And it's an abandoned project too, like Dillo.. |
