How do I get them to load on boot?
Posted by mikshaw on Dec. 01 2005,04:22When you say installed to harddrive, do you mean a frugal install?
If so, copy the packages to /cdrom and they should load when you boot. You'll need to be root to do this, and you might also need to boot with 'dsl frugal' option

Posted by mikshaw on Dec. 02 2005,15:14What I usually do is start "mc as superuser" and copy files into /cdrom that way. You could also use "emelfm as superuser".
From terminal, "sudo cp /path/to/filename.dsl /cdrom/"
