I want to use wget with a proxy that requires authorisation. The wget I got on my linux box support proxy userid/passwd and a variable called ' http_proxy' .. I noticed the DSL wget does support proxy, but not with authorisation.. anyone knows if there is a package outthere that supports these options?

Grab the gnu replacement.

mydsl-load gnu-utils.dsl system

or

mydsl-load gnu-utils.unc

This will provide the full gnu version of wget.
