Hi I am new to DSL and Linux, I am trying to work out how to update iptables software supplied with DSL, everywhere I go I am presented with needing to use the make command, however I am unable to find the make command in DSL, how do I find it , or install it?

I have managed to download the kernel etc from the MYDSL icon / system, but do not know where to go from here.

Am I missing something obvious? Or is it more complex than I imagine?

make, as well as several useful headers, is provided in gcc1-with-libs.dsl, currently found in the "testing" section of mydsl.

There is an earlier version called gcc1.dsl in "system", which works fine but does not provide as many headers.
