more than 2 partitions

Is it possible to have more than a main partition and a swap partition when doing a HD install? I would like to have something like this:

/dev/hda1        /
/dev/hda2        swap
/dev/hda3        /home
/dev/hda5        /var
/dev/hda6        /tmp
