I have a dell Lattitude CPI p3 650 that i have a frugal install on and I am trying to get ACPI working correctly. I have confirmed that my machine supports acpi by looking at dmesg and finding all the acpi messages. i have installed acpid by using apt-get. I have removed the noapci from my boot line. I have also tried acpi=force on the boot line to no effect.

Any help would be great
