I'm not sure if this problem goes here or not but I'll put it here and if it's the wrong place I'm sure it will placed in the proper place. ![]() But here goes the problem. Last week one night we had a power outage during the early morning hours. When I got up my DSL was stuck on the bootup screens. I had to run the e2fsck (I think) to get it to finish booting. Now though I've got a new problem to conquer. Every time I reboot or shutdown I get this type of message: apm: overridden by acpi Binary: No such file or directory Please mount media containing the optional dir and try again. I end up having to hit the power switch and then go through the check forced startup routine. Can anyone tell me what's wrong and what I need to do to fix it? Thank you!!! ![]() Posted by roberts on Dec. 27 2005,00:52
Need more information. What version? How installed? What bootloader? What options? |
