So I followed the instructions to the letter to install DSL on an old Compac Presario 1245 64 mgs ram 3.2 gig hard drive it seems the disk is now read only that is one error then I try cfdisk to re write partitions and reread failed so I go to boot and everthing seems ok but now I am at
box login:
Debian GNU/linux testing/unstable box tty1

at one point it asked for root password which I never gave and I just cant boot

I am pretty new so any assistance would be swell

Damn I got it Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
