i'd like to get /boot,/,/swap,/usr,/home./var into seperate drives partition..

Which install method to use? sHD, eHD, frugal or shud I be looking at a differant distro/flavor

You could use a normal dsll-hdinstall and alter the fstab after installation. (I think)???
