Getting dsl to find my sound card during bootForum: HD Install Topic: Getting dsl to find my sound card during boot started by: linuxfan Posted by linuxfan on Feb. 03 2006,02:52
Hi, All, Me again! I have a Creative Labs SoundBlaster 16 sound card in an ISA slot on my computer. When the comp boots, init checks ISA, but it ignores the card. After signing in, I can run 'modprobe sb', and it finds and sets it up immediately. How would I go about setting up init to do this during boot? I know this is a bit of a newbie question, but I'm still a'learnin'! Thanks, Steve Posted by clacker on Feb. 03 2006,03:02
put the command you need to run at startup into /opt/bootlocal.shBy now you should be a'learnin' to use the search button. |
