Hello.

I am having a lot of trouble installing DSL Linux.

I have created a FAT32 partition called "LINUX" without the speech marks.

Now, I go to install DSL. But it says I need to make a LINUX partition. And it does not let me continue.

So how do I create a LINUX partition?

From MARK.

I am also a rookie but a bit less than you ! Fat32 is for windows partition. You should make a EXT2 partition or EXT3 . Best way is to get Hiren's Boot CD from the net and use a software for partition. Also take good care not to have a bootable OS on the same hard drive because since ur a rookie you may get LILO boot only linux and then if you don't know it gets coplicated ! Altough if you have time and patience I encourage you to try it out because it's the only path to knowledge
