When i use emelFM and i go to the /home/dsl/ directory i cant see my /.fluxbox folder. This is also true for many folders in /home/dsl. This isnt a big deal seeing as i can us MC but its just a little annoying. Oh and could some please tell me how to open a file in MC for some reason i can't figure out how. Thanks.

Click on the little "H" in the upper left hand corner to see hidden files.

Or press "Ctrl+h".With a default DSL setup, mc has no extension file, which means that basically the only actions available are edit and view. You'll need to create a file that will allow you to associate files with applications (either .mc/ext or .mc/bindings....can't remember what the filename is for DSL's mc at the moment...i think it's ext). You can do this by going to the menu (F9) and select "Command -> Edit extension file", or download one from the internet. You can find one that is made secifically for DSL here: < http://mikshaw.cesparks.com/linux/dotfiles/mc.ext.txt > It's not complete, and some actions probably don't work due to missing applications, but i've been tweaking it here and there and will update it eventually.
