Hello, I am having a problem with my install of DSL Linux.
I have an embedded motherboard PCM-5890 (ftp://ftp.emacinc.com/m-5890.pdf)
with a 256mb CF disk in IDE mode.
This machine has a 133mhz processor and 32mb of ram.

I have installed DSL Linux using loadlin exactly as the wiki says to, but the program halts at this line:
"VP_IDE: Unknown VIA SouthBridge, Disabling DMA".
I've tried all of the cheatcodes for DSL, like nodma and etc, but it still won't work right.

Here's a snippet of the last few lines before it dies:
"RAMDISK driver initialized: 16 RAM disks of 1536K size 1024 blocksize
Uniform Multi-Platform E-IDE Driver Revision: 7.00beta4-2.4
ide: assuming 33mhz system bus speed for PIO modes; override with idebus=xx
VP_IDE: IDE controller at PCI slot 00:02.0
VP_IDE: chipset revision 4
VP_IDE: not 100% native mode, will probe irqs later
VP_IDE: Unknown VIA SouthBridge, disabling DMA."

then nothing, it just hangs for eternity.

I really like the DSL distro, and I look forward to using it in my embedded appliance.

Thank you in advance for your help :)
