I have just installed DSL onto a mini-itx machine, booting from a compact flash card using frugal install.

I am having problems installing a cron daemon and wondered if anybody had any any helpful advice.

Basically I downloaded the the cron deb package usng apt-get which seems to run ok.  I then used the deb2dsl script to make a dsl file.  After rebooting the dsl package seems to load ok, but running cron seems to fail with no output, ie it doesn't appear in the list of processes.

Theres obviously something missing from the dsl package but I have no idea what it is.  Can anybody help?

Kind regards...

Andi
