Hey,

I know this question has been posted before but i've tried everything and I can't get it to work.

I have a DSL instance running with the grub loader.

My menu.lst file has a few options, but the one that isn't working is the one that boots X:
title DSL
kernel /boot/linux24 root=/dev/hda2

I'm not using initrd.
Tried almost every boot option for linux 24, but none seem to get rid of the DSL X Setup screens.

Thanks very very much!

Had the same problem. And can't solve it either ???

But I finally "solved" it by installing DSL to hd again, and answering no to "do you want multiple users?" (or similar question...)

Don't know what it has to do with xsetup, but now it doesn't go there :) ?

Unfortunately I'm running linux in kiosk mode, so I need the multiple users, one with no permissions.

So nobody has solved this problem?

I think if you have a .xserverrc file already in your $HOME it won't run xsetup unless you have xsetup specified in your boot parameters.
