Floppy doesn't mount anymore after frugal install

Now, when I boot up, the following appears:

INIT: Entering runlevel: 5
end-request: I/O error, dev 02:00 (floppy), sector 0
[last line repeated]
mount: /dev/fd0 is not a valid block device
Unable to mount device fd0
Press Enter to continue:

I should confirm that I do actually have a floppy drive on the computer.

Is there something I may do to correct the above problem?
