Hi.

Can anyone explain to me howto install the distro on a small pc104 without cd rom.
Is it possible to copy the install files to the HDD and then run the install from win2K/dos??

Need download from internet to hard disk two images:
a) bootfloppy.img
b) dsl-x.x-syslinux.iso or dsl-x.x.iso

1) From bootfloppy.img extract files to floppy disk.
Read < http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Boot_Floppies >

2) From dsl-x.x.syslinux.iso or dsl-x.x.iso extract files (Knoppix folder) to hard disk partition

3) Boot from floppy disk, automatically will find where are extracted files over hard disk.

Now DSL will run from hard disk instead from CDROM but even not installed over hard disk.

4) For hard disk Install read

Or you could install fom USB-stick. (if you have USB on your PC)
