cfdisk boot tagForum: HD Install Topic: cfdisk boot tag started by: dolphin Posted by dolphin on Mar. 28 2006,03:45
Hi,I have partitioned my H/D into 2 parts. The 1st was installed XP and 2nd DSL. After installing DSL, the default boot OS is DSL now. I tried to use cfdisk to toggle the boot tag to the XP partition. The write function of cfdisk utility complaint "... can not re-read the table...". Any pointer is appreciated. Add these lines to your lilo.confother=/dev/hda1 label=Windows I have not tried it and i dont know if it works but, you can always give a try. lilo.conf is located at /etc if you dont know. |
