Hi everyone.

The machine on which DSL will be installed:
Pentium 2 350MHz,
128MB SDRAM
52x CDROM but no floppy drive.
No internet connection of any kind on this machine is possible.
However, I hv a differnt machine at home from where i can download packages, rpms, debs, whatever , burn them on a cd n take them to this old machine and using the cd i can transfer files.

OpenOffice.org Writer is needed on the old machine. Please tell me how should i make this possible. If there are any how-tos pls link me there.

From the desk top you can pick up OpenOffice

MyDSL-->uci-->openoffice-2.0.uci.info

Download the uci package and install on your DSL machine.
