Hi,

I've installed DSL on my harddrive (not frugal, the ''normal'' one). For example,If DSL v3 comes out,how can I update to that version?Do I have to download the whole iso, burn it again, and reinstall it?If I have to,is there a way to reinstall DSL again without having to burn it on a cd?

thanx in advance

Couldn't Deelk just replace the old KNOPPIX file (50 Mb) with the new one? (the new KNOPPIX file could be extracted from the iso without having to burn it on cd)

he said he didn't do a frugal, so no-go, it's all uncompressed
on his HD. I think posts like this should be in the HD-Install section,, like er 'permanently'.

He should update to frugal and enjoy the benefits that the rest of us have.

Deelk,
versioning, cvs, hd installs, upgrading are taboo here.

Check back later (water to cool flames needed, please!)
