When i boot from hd install, it doesnt auto and i cant seem to manually mount it. dmesg : usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout   usb-ohci.c: unlink URB timeout usb.c: USB device not accepting new address=3(errors=110) usb.c: registered new driver hiddev usb.c: regiestered new driver hid

i have proc /proc proc defaults 0 0 in fstab...thats only entry other then hda and cdrom/floppy.

Ive spent way to much time on this and your input would be appreciated. Its a 233 mhz Ibm with no floppy/burner/or net. The floppy just broke ...thats why i need usb for storage.. and i tried to get it to boot from usb but no luck there either...too old? i digress thank you in advance. Peace.
