Hi,
I've installed DSL on my Libretto 50CT (P75 - 16Mb RAM - 800HD) removing the HD and using another laptop.

When DSL boots on the Libretto it crashes with the message:

remount it read-write:

#mount -n -o remount,rw /
<1> unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address ...
...
...
<0> Kenrel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
In interrupt handler - not syncing

Any idea ?

Did you set up a swap partition?

I think so.
A few seconds before the error i can see the "Activating swap" message.

How can I verify it ?

Thanks

If your laptop has a floppy drive, then you could download < http://www.toms.net/rb/ > and run 'fdisk -l' (without quotes).

The swap partition seems to be ok:
# fdisk -l
Disk /dev/hda: 815 MB ...
...
/dev/hda1   1  89  714861   83 Linux
/dev/hda2 90   94   40162+ 82 Linix Swap

Any other idea ?
Thanks
