Hi ive being useing a number of linux distros for the past week or so, and i cant find any descent wireless networking support, I recently came across DSL. I tried the embeded version and was shocked to find the wireless card working :D
I was wondering whether all the features of DSL are installed to HDD when you install to it, if so i would very much like to create a hard-drive install and be able to surf the interweb on a linux distro. Also once installed to the hard-drive would i be able to install applications like Wine and kernel updates and games like ut2004 + ati drivers?

Help would be very apprecitated, Thanks.

If you have wireless working with DSL embedded, then it is really Qemu and passthru using your windows wireless configuration. I would first suggest to boot from a DSL cdrom to see if DSL natively can see your wireless card. DSL cannot take credit for Qemu's use of the pre-existing windows networking abilities.
