Hi,

I tried to do a new install after a previous one (I used grub loader)
I remove all partitions , and create hda1 (750M,primary) and hda2 (14.5M,extended)
Target is to install dsl inside hda1 and a shared space in hda2 (fat32?)
I install dsl from CD inside hda1 , without boot loader
When I reboot , I get a grub error 22 and it stops.
What can I do?

(1) boot from the CD

(2) open up Aterminal

(3) In the terminal type: sudo mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/hda1
(The above command makes the first partition on disc one accessible to the filesystem).

(4) then type: more /mnt/hda1/boot/grub/menu.lst
(The above command displays the menu list for Grub).

Post your results here.
