Hi all,

This is my first post to this forum. I have been using DSL for little over a week and am impressed with it.

Howerver, I have one strange problem. Everytime I reboot, DSL won't establish connection with my router and the LED on router won't light up. After several trail & error I was able to find the solution. Evey time after shutdown, I pull power cord out from back of computer and then on next start up, DSL will sucessfully establish connection.

Something is happening when a computer is completely powered off and it is reseting something which allows to establish connection on next startup.

It is an old machine with Gigabit MB, 600 Intel Celeron, 64 mb ram. The network card is intel which I bought off ebay and I think it is from server and hence NIC is industrial grade. If you need to know what is the chipset or model of card then let me know and I shall pull it out.

Please help me friends.

Thanks,

Can someone please help me. Not sure if it matters but I use DSL 2.3 and have updated using synaptics.

Thanks,
