shutdown not umounting / (or /dev/hda2)Forum: HD Install Topic: shutdown not umounting / (or /dev/hda2) started by: prijo Posted by prijo on July 09 2006,04:05
noob to this forum. i've searched high and low for reference to this issue.Recently installed dsl, very impressed. on shutdown or reboot, last message is can't umount /, (trying /dev/hda2) then on the next start (or reboot) it goes into fsck automatically cuz / wasn't umounted properly tried putting fuser -m / in powerdown.sh to find the culprit, but it references every pid left running... don't know where to go from here, I've tried everything I can think of. thanks in advance for your help |
