hi,

I have installed DSL on a hd partition (hda3). After installing DSL I have auto-updated the SuSE grub bootloader ("repair" function). But when I choose the "dsl" entry on the SuSE grub, there is an error.  ???

Please help me, what are the boot options for DSL on hd?

I also use SuSE 10.0.  My grub entry is as follows -

title Damn Small Linux
   root (hd0,8)
   kernel /boot/linux24 root=/dev/hda9 quiet vga=794 acpi dma frugal fromhd=/dev/hda9 mydsl=hda10/mydsl
   initrd /boot/minirt24.gz

You would need to have root (hd0,2) - and root=/dev/hda3, accordingly

Thanks, i'll keep this in my mind.

Yesterday, I have tried lilo (1st time ever) and it works fine. A very pretty advantage is that you can lilo configure easily.

But when I have some time, I'll try your grub settings. Sure.
