Hi there!

How can I modify the file system to writable, if the fstab is rewritten at every boot sequence?
With lilo.conf is the same problem.

Writeable, with dsl-3.x boot with option unionfs,
on prior versions boot with writeable, and most of the fs will be writeable, via symlinks.

fstab is regenerated on each boot, use boot option nofstab to disable.

I'm using a frugal installed dsl. There are no boot options at all. Is there any writable configuration file for them?

OK. The main problem is that my machine doesn't have any removable media and isn't booting from usb. I've installed dsl on an other computer, but now there aren't any other computers near me.  :p I have decided to try to copy all directories and symlinks to hda3 and mount dev and proc then chroot to hda3, but midnight is stopping after 56%. So I can't edit fstab so I have only read-only filesystems and I can't run lilo -c.

Your boot time options are in lilo.conf or menu.lst depending on which used.
There are instructions in the wiki for editing these files to change boot options.
