Hi, I have installed DSL on a few other computers but this one I am stuck on right off the bat. The cpu has no os on it whatsoever which shouldnt be a problem right? It boots fine from the cdrom and says 'starting linux' and then it goes to another screen with just the image of the penguin in the upper left corner. I have had some problems trying to install win95 on this unit and it said 'unable to detect drive' or some sort...but I am stuck and was looking for some help! Thanks in advance! p.s.- I dont care about the win95 at all i just want linux on there for sure!

Try some bootcodes/cheatcodes - like try "dsl failsafe" for starters.Press F2/F3 during bootscreen for more options, and/or see the wiki. Posted by qrtback10 on Aug. 14 2006,23:36
Dsl failsafe works to a certain extent and then freezes again. What is wiki? wikipedia? Also, I used f2 and f3 key codes to no avail except for the failsafe which, as I said, froze further along.
