For the sake of memory, I'll repeat question one.

Question 1: What is Frugal?
Question 2: How can I install DSL permanent on HD but boot it with the 'toram' cheat code?

I admit I didn't do any extensive searches on question 2, but I did on question 1, though I could not find anything. Well, I found some...

Mr. Google.

And question number 3, which most likely will relate to question number 2, will I encounter any formatting process during "Install to Hard Drive"?

I have this old P3 800 MHZ that wasn't quite powerful for the standard stuff I wanted (used Debian 'Etch' with KDE), but absolutely blew my mind away when trying DSL (toram). Good work, I simply love it! Suits my needs perfectly.

Thanks in advance,
Snorks

Q3.  Yes, optionally.  Being paranoid, I read the script before I ran it.  Quite readable & very educational.

How?  Boot the Live CD.  Examine the hidden fluxbox menu file  for the name of the script, edit the script, and all will be revealed!

Need more?  Read up on GRUB boot options.

Now you are an expert! :D
