Hii am a new linux user. i want to use damn small linux. i can boot it. i wanted to install to the HD. you need to specify the exact drive likecfdisk /dev/hda This is the primary drive on you first ide cable. Not sure how your computer is configured so this is just an example. Posted by ^thehatsrule^ on Sep. 30 2006,21:51
Actually, cfdisk will default to /dev/hda without specifying anything.Also, you need root priveleges, use i.e. sudo cfdisk Use ls /mnt/hd* to see your ide drives. Posted by sisqonrw on Oct. 01 2006,13:42
