First of all I love this software .. I use it on a Toshiba 4025.  But I have to get a Dell Latitude 433 and Compaq 4120 running and they only have floppy drives and hard drives, No USB.  Any advice on how to do this with DSL are greatly appreciated.

Best Regards

The simplest may be to take out the disk, transfer it to the toshiba, install DSL and finally put the disk back. With the DSL autoconfiguration it should work fine.

Thank you very much for your information.  I'll try the installation that way and I'll let you know how it works out.

I think DSL comes with both lilo and grub boot loaders, maybe the other works. Also many old compaqs comes with a bios setup partition and if you deleted this it may not work (not very likely though, it should boot without it).

You might try the boot floppy and sometimes it will find the Knoppix on your harddrive.
