ok, I burned the ISO to a cd to boot it directly from there, but it tells me "Unable to boot from cd, press any key to try again."
I was wondering if it would be possible to do a HD install from inside windows, then just boot dsl from the hard drive, like windows itself.

1. Did you burn the .iso as an CD image?

2. Yes you can - if you have a fat or linux type partition ready.  I'd suggest for you to try it out live first though, if this is your first time with DSL.

Ok, so I tried making a partition on my hard drive for dsl, but there's no room aparently. So I decided to try downloading the iso from a different source, and surprise surprise, it worked. Thanks for the help btw.
