During startup I see a message

Code Sample

Skipping DMA acceleration as requested by boot prompt

(or something like that )

So how do I un-skipp DMA?

hdparam -d 1 /dev/hda

Place this in /opt/bootlocal.sh

Or add 'dma' as a bootcode.
