I am new to the world of linux and have a few questions.

I have tried to download some things and gotten error messages telling me not enough free space.  So I changed my download directory in mozilla to hda6
I ran the df command and it says  it has 4750356 available with 0% used  and that its mounted in /mnt/mydir.  I saved to /mnt/mydir/download at about 55mb is where I get the error.  What am I doing wrong?

Also I dl a couple versions of dsl/puppy/dsl-n I can only get one off the burned iso to boot on my laptop which is the box I am looking to set up, but many of the other iso cd boot on my desktop box any ideas why some won't boot on one box and will on another?

Thanks for any help
