Hello,

I try to install DSL 3.0.1 to my old 85MB Hard Disk.

The install routine says it need 200MB on the HD to install, but why need a 50MB System 200MB of hard disk place?

Is there any way to install DSL on this HD?
At the moment I have a DSL 3.0.1 Live-CD.
If I need an other image please post a link.

I tryed also the boot option dsl tohd=\dev\hda1 so i copy the CD on the HD but how can I write the mbr to boot DSL from the HD?

Use one of the frugal installation scripts - it will also set up your bootloader for you.

OK now it works, but i have problems with the my serial mouse.

Another Question: Now i have a live-system on the HD, ist there any way to save the settings?

Run xsetup and choose the serial port that the mouse is on.

See backup/restore - did you look through the Local Startup Documentation that pops up under dillo?

There is nothing that pops up wenn i run DSL on this Machine, mayby I shoud bood the CD on a other PC. At the moment I can't do anything, it starts and nothing else, the only thing is press ctrl-alt-del to kill the grafic-interface.

ctrl alt del is for restart.  Use ctrl alt backspace to kill X, then type xsetup.sh

dillo is the web browser that is first displayed.  If this was already deleted from startup, you can just open dillo from desktop.
