I looked at syslinux.cfg and it looks like I could edit it to boot other partitions on my hard disk.

I succeed in booting my USB HDD resident DSL via the DSL CDROM. Assuming I can do the same with the DSL boot floppy:

How would I edit syslinix.cfg so I could use my DSL boot floppy to boot my fedora or ubuntu partition that I cannot otherwise boot from (because my BIOS is brain damaged).
