quieter boot processForum: HD Install Topic: quieter boot process started by: CyberCod Posted by CyberCod on Mar. 11 2007,03:55
What files would i have to edit to quiet down the boot process some?I'd like to make the boot process a little less talkative. I read somewhere about commenting out the "echo" lines, but I don't know which files I need to do this for. Any help would be appreciated, Thanx Posted by mikshaw on Mar. 11 2007,05:06
/etc/init.d/knoppix-autoconfig/etc/init.d/dsl-config You might also want to try some boot options to disable certain boottime hardware checks Posted by CyberCod on Mar. 11 2007,16:25
