I'm trying to use DSL to run some java apps, but I need unicode support? Has anyone found a way to support other languages?

You probably need locale support.. It's complex stuff, but you could get some from Knoppix 3.4 iso.. Take at least locale-archive (don't remember where it is) and /usr/share/i18n dir and copy them to the corresponding places in DSL...
