Hello everyone here, this is my first time posting and I am very happy to be here. My problem is the following. I have a Toshiba Satellite with 64Mb Ram memory, when I try to install DSL, all run fine until,a screen say I need to select XVesa or Xfbdev. I selected Xvesa, pressing cancel, then a message appear as follow:
Quote
Using Xvesa default 1024x768x32 -mouse "/dev/input/mice" mouse
xauth: creating new authority file /home/dsl/ .Xauthority
xauth: creating new authority file /home/dsl/ .Xauthority
And that's all, the installation stop on that screen without anymore progress. Well, thanks in advance and your attention would be appreciated.
regards

Which model is it?  You can try searching the forums with it.

If that doesn't help, you can try a number of boot/cheatcodes (see the wiki page on cheatcodes)

Thank you ^thehatsrule^, is a Toshiba Satellite P5271U-6k9j0k. I will read again the wiki to try again. Also I restart and re-install on expert mode and did the same.

Fbdev is better for laptops..
Also boot with "install lowram failsafe"
