Did you check the list of supported devices on the wiki? You may not need to compile anything. Posted by curaga on Feb. 05 2008,16:05
The full kernel sources are available from kernel.org

My Devices are:Wlan1: Acer Wlan USB Stick with Zydas ZD1211 Chip <---don`t work with ndiswrapper with DSL 4.2.5 I need the zd1211rw Module ist the Kernel, with the Firmware form Debian Sid. The Acer work`s in Debian Etch with ndiswrapper and work's with the Kernel-Support form 2.6.18, when I use the Firmware from Debian Sid. Wlan2: Avm Fritz Wlan USB Stick, work`s with ndiswrapper in DSL 4.2.5, but I don`t can use the Linux Driver from AVM. < http://www.avm.de/de....l=Linux >
In will compile the Driver for DSL 4.2.5 with Kernel 2.4.31, but I don't have the Kernel Source from DSL 4.2.5. nonoo Posted by Onyarian on Feb. 05 2008,21:56
In Mydsl Extension, in Testing, there is a kernelsource-2.4.31.dslThis is the info file: --------------------------- Title: kernelsource-2.4.31.dsl Description: Kernelsource for DSL 4.x Version: 1 Author: Peter Misch - < http://www.skripta.de/ > Original-site: ftp://ftp.oss.cc.gatech.edu/pub/linux/distributions/damnsmall/current/kernel/ Copying-policy: Whatever license my program uses (GPL, BSD, MIT, etc) -------------------==[ color=red Filesize=2,1 MB ]==------------------------------ Extension by: pmisch - Peter Misch Comments: This kernelsource is needed if you want to compile kernelmodules for DSL 4.x - like wlan cards .... It is heavily stripped down to minimize memory usage. Change-log: Current: 2007/12/08 - First Version -------------------------------- Posted by nonoo on Feb. 06 2008,08:57
