MyDSL on HD installForum: HD Install Topic: MyDSL on HD install started by: janx Posted by janx on April 13 2009,15:48
Here is the error I get when exiting from the desktop:'Please mount media containing optional directory'. There are some discussions about this issue but related to a frugal install, which is not my case. I boot with: dsl mydsl=hda4/opt and under /opt I have an 'optional' directory. Also I don't see the extensions auto-loaded after a boot... ? Posted by u2musicmike on April 17 2009,19:30
Don't know if the error is because /opt is already a Linux directory. Might be better to rename /opt to /mydsl like this mydsl=hda4/mydsl and you could have another subdirectory like /mydsl/optional. I usually do a remastered CD with DSL and the added mydsl directories with my favorite programs.
