disk on chip - DSL installationForum: HD Install Topic: disk on chip - DSL installation started by: Gabor Posted by Gabor on Sep. 22 2004,21:53
Hi!I have got a so called "book size PC" with 64MB "disk on chip". In M$ Dos and Windows it pretends as c: drive. I can copy... format it (fat16). The problem is no Linux can detect it, looks like PC without HDD (for Linux). I've tried Mandrake, RedHat 9.0 and 7.3, DSL. What else could I try? Any ideas? Thanks! I used some stuff from www.m-systems.com forDiskOnChip.(DFORMAT, DUPDATE ...), but it doesn't really worked. It looks I updated the firmware with wrong version and killed the device ... G. |
