Is there any way to boot into dos with USB pendrive support?
Perhaps if there was a way to make it boot and recognize the USB pendrive then its possible...otherwise I dont know how you are going to get it copied from pendrive to HD since without an OS the usb is not activated

There are generic MSDOS drivers for a USB controller card.

There are also generic MSDOS drivers for a USB Mass Storage device.

However, if you insert your properly formatted USB pendrive into a newer computer that supports "USB Boot" in the BIOS, then you do not need all of this stuff because the BIOS will translate your USB pen drive into a "C:\" drive for MSDOS.

I have done this myself with a USB Pen Drive, FreeDOS and a Dell Poweredge 400sc and an Optiplex GX260
