Hey all. I'm new to the forum and have a question to which I could not find an answer. I have a number of 1 gig hard drives on which I was interested in installing DSL. How big is the full install, and what are my install options? Thanks!

About 250-300 MB, so should work nicely with 1 Gig drives. with room to spare.

Impure_Client,
Your options would be:
1. Standard install
2. Enhanced install
3. Frugal install

If you have a internet connection on the computer you are doing the hard drive install, I would recommend doing the Enhanced install as it loads some extra tools and other things that make your DSL expirience better. You really do not need the Frugal install because you have plenty of room on the drives.

A full HD install takes around 120 MB (at least in version 0.8.3).
