I just installed DSL ONto my hard drive. I wanted to add some mp3's. But i cant figure out how to access my cd drive and copy those files to a directory.

Thanks in advance for any help you give me

1) Insert disk into cd player.
2) Open Emelfm file manager.
3) Go to the following directory:
/mnt/auto

4) Right-Click on the "cdrom" directory and choose "Mount" from the context menu.

5) The files will appear inside this directory.  When you are finished using the disk, go back to the /mnt/auto directory and Right-Click on "cdrom" again and choose unmount.

6) Eject the disk and remove from your player.

You can also just use the cool little window in the lower-right corner of your desktop (don't know what it's called) and click through the different drives, and when you get to "cdrom", click the icon just to the left of the arrows (looks like a little hard drive) - it will turn green when it's mounted.  Then, as cbagger01 said, you can use Emelfm to browse to /mnt/cdrom or /mnt/auto

Thought I'd add since someone obviously went to the trouble to design that little program - might as well use it :-)

Good luck!

/cdrom is also a symlink of the relevant dir, save time if you use this :)
