I put a 100mb primary dos partition on the same hd as my dsl install and I think it is screwing it up. How do I get rid of it from within linux? I tried cfdisk but I can't seem to get it to work (it is hdc2, maybe I am doing the syntax wrong).

Thanks,

I deleted it but I am still getting an error:

/dev/hdc1:

Inode 1030365 has imagic flag set

Please help me...

I made it so that it doesn't check the disks at boot. It's a very messy procedure. But oh well, so far so good :)

I may be mistaken but somwhere in the darkand dank cavern of my mind I am recalling that linux needs to be installed after DOS/NTFS filesystems..this might be your problem.  If you have deleted the partition have you synced the partition table?

? or against the partition like this
Code Sample
cfdisk /dev/hda1
